William Douglas Guinn, age 81, of Minerva Park passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Bill was predeceased by his father Frank Edgell Guinn, mother Naomi Smith Guinn and his nephew Douglass Edgell Guinn.

Bill was born in 1942 in Newark, Ohio and grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Ohio State University in 1963 with a B.S. in Microbiology. He worked for Phillips Roxane from graduation ntil his retirement.

Bill had been an active member of Karl Road Baptist Church. He was also active in skeet shooting at Black Wing Shooting Center. Bill was a lifetime member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association, a lifetime member of: the OSU Alumni Association,American and Ohio State Amateur Trap Shooting Associations and The National and Ohio State Skeet Shooting Associations.

He loved his family and was generous with them, especially his nephews and grand nephews. He loved Christmas ad his gifts were always thoughtful and useful. He was a support and companion to his brother.

Bill will be missed by his family and friends.
