Alice Elizabeth Boyle (nee Davies) aged 98 years, died peacefully at home in Citrus Heights, CA on September 28, 2023. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, where she met the love of her life, John Joseph Boyle and was married for nearly 68 years.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband John Joseph, son John David, daughter-in-law Cyndee McCoy Boyle, son-in-law Bryan Murray, grandson Shawn Murray, and followed 4 days later by her son Charles Thomas Boyle. She was also preceded in death by her mother Alice May Jensen Davies Shugg (1898-2022), her father John Daniel Davies born in Llanelly, Wales (1892-1963), sister Frances Davies Deal (1922-1984) and brother Jack Shugg.
Her beloved dog Cara passed earlier this year.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Murray (Bryan), Karon Boyle, Alice Hanson (Kirk), sons Robert Boyle (Sherrill), Timothy Boyle (Annemarie) and daughter-in-law Doris Newman Boyle, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as a large extended family.
VISITATION: A visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct 19th from 3–7 pm at Lind Brothers Funeral Home - 4221 Manzanita Ave in Carmichael, CA. The Rosary will be read at 5:30p.
INTERNMENT: Alice will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. A brief memorial service will be held at the cemetery on Friday, Oct 20th from 10:15a-10:45a.
