Paula Reece Oliver, age 88, of Tusculum, passed away Friday morning at her home.
She retired from East Tennessee State University and was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church, where she was pianist for a number of years.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years: Don Carter Oliver; one son: Carter Reece Oliver; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Dale and Judy Reece of Kingsport, Bill and Margaret Reece of Knoxville; three nieces: Sandy, Melanie, and Kristi; one nephew: Rob.
She was a daughter of the late C.B. and Ruth Reece.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 2 o'clock in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel with the Rev. Melissa Malcolm officiating. Interment will be in Philadelphia Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice, particularly Tammy Ambrose and Kourtney Paysinger.
