Portuguese noblewoman and lady-in-waiting of Queen Maria Anna Josepha of Austria. She was a famous mistress of King João V of Portugal, with whom she allegedly had a daughter, Maria Rita Gertrudes de Portugal, who became a nun. She was called "Flor da Murta", meaning "Myrtle Flower", for her beauty.
