Alda married Samuel Rex Hunter on July 19, 1937 in Humboldt County, Nevada. They lived in Elko, Nevada and then moved to Compton, California. On the US 1950 Census, they have three children, Rex, Darlene, and Curtis. Samuel died in 1958.
On July 1, 1961 Alda married Robert H Marquardt in Los Angeles, California. They divorced January 1967 in Orange, California.
