Mr. Campbell was a lifelong area resident. He owned the plumbing company, which was at 6435 Truman Road, 50 years. He sold the company 11 years ago and until recently was self-employed.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Genevieve James of 1824 Ewing, Mrs. June Asher of Smithville and Mrs. Rosemary Davis of 2601 Denver; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Earp Truman Road Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery." The Kansas City Star, December 29, 1976
