H & A Machine Shop where he retired for the second time at 80 years old. Mr. Addison loved his animals and cows and taking his dog, Buddy on rides and hunting. He enjoyed eating breakfast at South 200 Drive In. Mr. Addison loved sitting on the porch at the Lancaster Grove with Doug and Don. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Lancaster Grove for taking good care of Mr. Addison in his final days.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Addison, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Douglas Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Burial in the Douglas Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mr. Addison is survived by his life partner of 37 years, Alice Deese of Jefferson; a son, C.J. Addison and his wife Ashlee of Lancaster; two daughters, Holly Crump and her husband Clark of Lancaster and Ida Settle and her husband Jason of Inman, SC; five grandchildren, Matthew Crump (Amanda), Courtney Green (Chris), Drew Settle, Jack Settle and Addi Crump; seven great-grandchildren, Brooke Addison (Nick), Noah Crump, Daniel Green, Joshua Green, Ava Addison, Brinley Crump and Mallory Green; and two nephews, Jimmy Addison and Billy Addison both of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda K. Addison; and a brother, Francis Evan Addison.
