Mrs. Berta Dixon Carroll, 88, of Greensboro died May 20, 1992, at her home. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park.
A native of Rockingham County, she was a member of Crusade Baptist Church and the Ladies Bible Class and was a retired employee of Cone Mills.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Mary Pegram, Mrs. Hilda Honeycutt, Mrs. Doris Umfleet, all of Greensboro, Mrs. Ann McDaniel of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Glyn Walker of Eden; sisters, Mrs. Wilma Miller of Reidsville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
