Aaron James Brewer, age 32 of Durand, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008 in Owosso. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Pastor Mike McDonald will be officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday April 21, 2008, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
Aaron was born on July 8, 1975 in Owosso the son of James Brewer and Paula (Benear) Koepke. He was a big Dallas Cowboy's fan, avid baseball player and enjoyed bowling.
Aaron is survived by his mother and step-father: Paula (Norm) Koepke of Durand; father, James of Kentucky; step-mother, Debbie Brewer of Morrice; 2 sisters: Julie Phelps of Corunna, Karrie Brewer of Morrice; 3 brothers: C.J. (Naomi) Breiler of North Carolina, Tanner and T.J. Brewer, both of Morrice; 2 step-sisters: Tiffany (Kyle) Fender of Waterford, Christina Koepke of Genesee; grandparents: Richard Benear, Julius and Marcia Koepke; nieces: Emma Breiler and Chelsie Phelps; nephew, Dillon Phelps; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
