OBIT:
James Adams, a prominent farmer residing on the Ludlow Road near Hagenbuch (Hagenbaugh), died at ten o'clock Sunday night after a long illness. His death was not unexpected as he had been in a critical condition for some time and all hope for his recover had been given up by his family several days ago. He had been in pour health for the past five years and had been confined to his bed for weeks before the end came. Death was due to a complication of diseases incident to old age. Mr. Adams was 72 years of age at the time of his death and in addition to his wife is survived by six children. three sons and three daughters. The sons are T.E. (Thomas Eldridge), W.L. (William Long), E. G. (Eugene Grant) and the daughters are Mrs. Pullins (Mary Eleanor), Mrs. Walker (Eliza), and Mrs. Cooper (Jennie). The funeral will occur Wednesday morning. Friends will meet at the house at ten o'clock, sun time, and the service will be held at the Kingscreek Baptist Church. Interment at Kingscreek.
