Kathleen Marie Roberts passed away early on the morning of March 9, 2015 surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Arnold, a brother, Robert "Bobby" Arnold; and her parents, Ruth Marie Arnold and Junior Gordon "Bud"Arnold. She leaves behind a loving family including her husband, Robert "Bob" Roberts; daughters, Jennifer Roberts and Elizabeth "Beth" Roberts and her partner, Steven Terrell; son, James Matthew "Matt" Roberts and his fiancee, Celia Ogletree. Kathy had one grandchild, Evan Alexander Terrell, whom she adored and was very active in his life and development as a child of faith. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Karon and John Chioso and their children, John Michael Chioso and Ashley Chioso, brother, Joseph Arnold and loving aunt, Sandra Lilja.
Kathy was active at First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville for 34 years and leaves behind an extended loving family there. She has always been active in her community serving for many years as a health service supervisor for the senior citizen centers in Gwinnett county.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville with Rev. Inman Houston officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA 30097.
