Larry Stewart Baldwin of Plano, Texas, passed away on October 4, 2023, at 82. He was born on October 25, 1940, to Howard Baldwin and Marguerite (Winfield) Baldwin in Clifton, Texas. Larry was a graduate of West High School in Wichita, Kansas. He married the late Nina Alvarez Baldwin on January 14, 1964, in Sevilla, Spain, and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage before her passing in 2020. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant after a long, distinguished military career. Following his service, he worked at Electrospace Systems for 17 years, including service during Desert Storm. Larry was a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Plano, the Air Force Association, and the University of Texas Longhorn Foundation. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Marguerite Fenton and husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Nadia Schwartz, Kevin Fenton, Aidan Fenton, all of Plano, Texas; sister, Lonna Turner and husband, Ed of Houston, Texas; brother Brent Baldwin and wife, Shana of St. Louis, Missouri; nieces, Carissa Baldwin-McGinnis of Houston, Texas, Zandra Duke of Spring Branch, Texas; nephews, Scott Turner of Austin, Texas; Chad Turner of Tomball, Texas; and Geoffrey Baldwin of San Diego, California; sisters-in-law, Dolores Alvarez Gonzalez, Puri Alvarez Gonzalez; brother-in-law, Manolo Alvarez Gonzalez, all of Sevilla, Spain along with a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Saturnina Baldwin, daughter, Nina Jackson, parents, Howard and Marguerite Baldwin, and brother, Randy Baldwin.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
