Mr. S.L. Lawson, 85, of Route 2, LaFollette, died Friday night at LaFollette Community Hospital.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Nelson of LaFollette, Mrs. Delphia Nelson of East Detroit, Mich.; four sons, Lonnie and Letcher of LaFollette, Luther of Monroe, Mich., and Presley Lawson of Detroit, Mich.; 26 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Walters Chapel by the Rev. Bill Maxwell and the Rev. Raymond Albright. Burial was in Murrayville Cemetery.
Walters Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
