Ronald "Ron" Slagle Obituary
Mr. Ronald "Ron" Paul Slagle, 74, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

Mr. Slagle was born January 25, 1949, in Macon, Co. to the late Forrest and Myrtle Wiggins Slagle. Ron was the owner and operator of Slagle Automotive. He was a graduate of Piedmont College. He served in the Civil Air Patrol, had a pilot license, and loved to fly airplanes. Ron was a member of Watauga Baptist Church where he loved to cook dinners for Christmas, homecoming, and all special occasions. Ron was a loving and caring person who was always willing to help people.

Survivors include his two sons, Alex Slagle and Josh Martin both of Franklin; and a sister, Frances DeWitt (Nolan) of Franklin, NC.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Wesley Price officiating. The family will greet friends after the service.
