Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Baptist Church with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery, according to Maddox-Page Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnston was [a] daughter of the late Frank and Emily Wingrove Cook. She had lived in LaGrange all her life and was the widow of Carl D. Johnston.
Survivors, all of LaGrange, include three daughters, Mrs. Frank Poore, Mrs. W. J. Carrington, Mrs. Abbie Lee Cindick; two sons, Glen P. Johnston and John Ralph Johnston; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Crouch, Mrs. Ira Nixon, Mrs. Louise Estes and Mrs. Vera Nixon.
