Everett C. Day, Jr., 91, went home to be with Jesus on Nov. 25, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Henderson church of Christ chapel – 240 White Ave. Henderson. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.
A brief burial service is planned at the Tiplersville church of Christ at 1:30 p.m. with burial at the Tiplersville cemetery.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Everett to the Freed-Hardeman University College of Biblical Studies or to the donors charity of choice.
He is survived by his children, Brenda (Ken) Hall and Tommy (Melissa) Day; his six grandchildren, Austin Hall, Heather Hall, Tory (Elizabeth) Day, Taylor (Sarah) Day, Tucker (Lauren) Day and Tully Day; five great-grandchildren, Adelynn, Hayden, Olivia, Jackson and Ripley; his sister, Patsy (d. Bill) Ainsworth; his brother, Robert Day; his sister-in-law, Merlene (d. Eugene) Day; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Bettye Doris Jackson Day; his sister, Miriam (Bob) Holcomb; and his brother, Billy (Ginger) Day.
