James F. "Jim" Connor Jr., of Dania Beach, Fla., died Dec. 19, 2013, at Broward Medical Center, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was 62. Jim was born in Weymouth, Mass., and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1968. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in November 1968 and served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a ski and tennis instructor in North Conway, N.H., before lobster fishing out of Nahant, Mass. He moved to Florida in the 1980s and became a yacht broker, most recently employed by Marine Max. Jim enjoyed watching sporting events and volunteering with his companion, Paula Glenn, of Dania Beach. He was the proud father of Meghan Connor, DVM, of Gainesville, Fla.; and also survived by Meghan's mother, Sandra Connor of Jupiter, Fla.; beloved son of retired Weymouth Fire Chief James F. Connor Sr., and the late Anne E. Connor; beloved brother of Patricia Connor Lenehan of Towson, Md., V. Elizabeth DeNapoli of Newtown Square, Pa., and Annemarie Connor Demarkles of North Weymouth; proud uncle of Patrick, Timothy, Maureen, and Brian Lenehan, Allison Schill, Alanna Morris, Charles and Eileen Demarkles; and great-uncle of Connor and Rose Morris, and Mason Schill.
