Idaho State Journal dated June 30, 1964 reads as follows:
ORR BROOKS CAMPBELL
Orr Brooks Campbell, 77, 505 South Harrison, a retired district lineman for the Union Pacific Railroad Telegraph Department, died at his home Monday after a long illness.
Born June 20, 1887, at Soda Springs, he was the son of Jared E. and Hannah A. Babcock Campbell. He spent his early life in Soda Springs, attending schools there. He began work for Union Pacific at Idaho Falls, was transferred to Montpelier and in 1935 came to Pocatello where he lived since that time. He retired in 1953.
In 1918 he married Irene Lindsey at Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He married Mrs. M.J. Gronwall Nov. 23, 1973, at Butte Mont.
A veteran of World War I, he served in the Army.
Survivors include his widow; a son, Max B. Campbell, Whitier, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Alva French, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Lois Jensen of Ogden, Utah, and Mrs. Beulah Jackson, Aberdeen; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Downard Funeral Home.
