Jaunita Pearl Stange, 91, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at her home in Lebanon, KS.

Jaunita was born September 15, 1932, in Bellaire, KS, the daughter of Earl and Meda (Vaughn) Cornwell. On June 11, 1950, she married Karl A. Stange in Phillipsburg, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Karl, a still born daughter Jennifer, two brothers, Harold Cornwell and Russell Brew, a sister Betty Dick, and a nephew Loren Dick.

Jaunita is survived by a son George Stange of Lebanon; three daughters, Karla (Gene) Jones of Smith Center, Leafa Ruth Marrs of Tilden, NE, Angela (Rodney) Richardson of Lebanon; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at North Oak Creek Cemetery, Lebanon, KS, with Pastor Les Ellis officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., with family present to greet friends at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS 66967. Memorials may be given to the Lebanon Community Center or Pancreatic Cancer Research – Kansas State University and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
