She retired from Clark County Schools in 2008 as a beloved elementary school teacher. Cathy loved traveling the world, attending concerts, playing golf and spending time with family and friends. A woman of strong Catholic faith, she would attend Sunday Mass. Catherine will be remembered for her outgoing, bold and spirited approach to life. Her grandchildren will miss her long conversations that spanned from casual chit chat to imparted wisdom. her quick wit and cleverness will be missed.
Despite passing away in Indiana, Catherine will always be a Jersey girl. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Edward Bowes and her daughter, Jennifer Gualazzi. Catherine leaves behind her daughter, Andrea; grandchildren, Jordan, Micaela and Alexia; great grandchildren, Vincent and her adored Golden Retriever, Oliver.
Graveside services will be held on December 10, 2023 at 1 pm at Palm Memorial Park, (Palm Mortuary) 7600 Eastern Road, Las Vegas, NV.
