BRANDON - Lee Boggan, 67, a retired parts and service manager, died of heart failure Monday at Rankin General Hospital.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until noon at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home and after 1 p.m.at the church.
Mr. Boggan, a Mendenhall native and longtime resident of Jackson, was retired from Allied Equipment after many years of service. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher and chairman of the Board of Deacons. He was also chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee and co-chairman of the Building Committee and a member of the Finance Committee.
Mr. Boggan was a member of the Pearl Masonic Lodge, a member of York Rite and Scottish Rite Bodies and the Red Cross of Constantive and York Rite College #83, Legion of Honor Preceptory. He was Past Potentate of Wahabi Temple and was serving as treasurer. He was also Past Grand Patron of the Order of Eastern Star of Mississippi. He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include: wife, Edna; and brothers, Mims Boggan of Mendenhall and Johnnie T. Boggan of Jackson.
Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Wahabi Shrine Temple Building Fund.
