Dorcas Arvilla "Jo" Cluck, 91, of Kennewick, died Nov. 6 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick. She was born in Herrin, Ill., and was a Tri-Cities resident for 44 years. She was a retired administrator for the Kennewick School District. Life Tributes Cremation Center, Kennewick, is in charge of arrangements.

My birth name is Dorcas Arvilla Jordan-Cluck, (Jo) born in Herrin, Illinois. My gggg(4)grandfather was Thomas Jordan, Sr. who, with six brothers, were the first white settlers in Franklin County, Illinois in 1804. Both my family (Jordan, Cole, Carter, White, Miles, McDowell, etc.) and my late husband's (James Edward Cluck) family (Cluck, Braden, Hall, McFarland, Spain, etc.) have roots in Hamilton, White, Saline, Franklin and Williamson counties.
My cousin, Jacque Leehy-Dunning and I have photographed several of the cemeteries in Southern Illinois of our immediate and extended families. We have a webpage on the Jordan Ancestors and I managed one along with my husband's cousin Jim Cluck on the Cluck Ancestors.
