Yvonne Conn, age 83 of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born October 22, 1937 in Betsy Lane, Kentucky to the late John and Grace Bayes.
In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Conn; sisters, Dorothy, Thelma, Lurla, June and Zella; and great granddaughter, Sophia Nelson.
Yvonne will be missed by her loving children, John (Kathy) Conn and Melanie Conn; grandchildren, Becki (Andy) Nelson, Lauren Dennis, Andrew (Sarah) Strausbaugh, Jacob (Audrey) Conn and Chad Dishman; great grandchildren, Madelyn Nelson, Paul Nelson, Lillian Dennis, Elliott Dennis, Abigail Stewart and Jacob Conn, Jr.; and sister, Phyllis Craig.
Yvonne was a dedicated mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also a dedicated nurse for over 22 years. She enjoyed antiquing, puttering around the garden, and her cats. Yvonne loved exploring new places and being surrounded by her family and friends.
Family will receive friends Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. A fellowship gathering will be held immediately after the service at the Vandalia Church of the Nazarene, 620 Stonequarry Rd., Vandalia. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel.
