Neldon Howard "Pete" Noyes
April 11, 1934 – August 21, 2023

PRICE, UT – Neldon Howard "Pete" Noyes, our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, age 89, of Price, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 at home. He was born on April 11, 1934 in Price, Utah to Walter Howard and Annie J. Boren Noyes and was the oldest of four children. Neldon married the love of his life, LaRee Ivie Noyes, on October 3, 1953 in Price, Utah. As a couple they were known as "Pete" and "Jo." Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They were married for 63 years and raised eight children on the family farm.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Neldon's life revolved around taking care of his family and supported his kids and grandkids in junior riding club, high school rodeo, motocross racing and other activities. Neldon enjoyed playing guitar, singing, camping, hunting, saddle making and leather work in his younger years and enjoyed working on his farm with his children and grandchildren. You could hear him singing and humming while on his tractor working the fields. Neldon enjoyed riding his horses with family and friends whether it was a ride through the flats for a family picnic, up through Horse Canyon to Pinnacle Bench or a trail ride on the San Rafael.

Neldon worked as a plumber and worked at the Hunter and Emery power plants as a general foreman over the plumbers and pipefitters. He also taught a plumber/pipefitter apprenticeship program in the 1970s. Following retirement from the power plants he was maintenance supervisor at CEU for several years. Neldon was a hard worker and a problem solver. His teasing and sense of humor will never be forgotten and will be missed.

Neldon is survived by his children, Chuck (Nyla) Noyes, Wayne (Shelly) Noyes, Cole (Carolyn) Noyes, Spencer Noyes, Nelda (James) Coats, Wes (Bobbie) Noyes, Jeff (Melanie) Noyes and Trinie (Brandon) Payne; 30 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; and brother, Fred Noyes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife LaRee Noyes, brother Merrill Noyes, sister Ella Mae Jensen, sister-in-law Patsy Brown and sister-in-law LaRene Ivie.
