Albert Paul Bauerle, age 83, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Life Care Center of Morristown. He was of the Catholic faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and retired as a detective of Suffolk County in Long Island, New York. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Louis and Nellie Bauerle. He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Elizabeth Gail Bauerle; children, Debra Bauerle (Kem Templeton), Alan Bauerle, and Michael (Kim) Bauerle; grandchildren, Jack Templeton, Eli Templeton, Caitlin (Anthony) Lugenbeal, Tab Bauerle, Michael Bauerle, and Dagny Bauerle; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Flora and Hailey Lugenbeal; sister, Lilian (Bill) Sereychas; and nephew, Brian Sereychas. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, December 7th at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Our Lady of the Isle Church Cemetery in Shelter Island Heights, New York. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
