Mr. Burke, age 74, was a former resident of Whitehall, NY. He was an Army Veteran of World War I. He was employed by the Albany School system for many years. He was also a member of the old American Legion Drum and Bugle Corps of Whitehall, NY.

Husband of the late Louise (Lewis) Burke. Survived by six daughters, Mrs. Roland (Helen) Manor, Mrs. Clarence (Elizabeth) Aubin, Mrs. Lawrence (Agnes) LaMore, Mrs. Joseph (Colleen) Ross and Mrs. Glen (Ann) Brown, all of Whitehall, NY, Mrs. Oscar (Madeline) Beebe of Angola; a step-son, James Burke of Scotia; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Murphy and Miss Elizabeth Burke, both of Albany, 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
