Son of Ezra Williams Van Duzen, III and Helen Marshall. Married to Grace Shauecker (daughter of Charles L. Shauecker and Lema Fink) on 06 Aug 1938 at Allegheny County, PA.

Van's wife Grace was living in Lakeland, CA at time of his death, she had become active with the obscure church Emmisaries of Divine Light, and lived apart from Ezra. They had one son, Ezra Williams "Billy" Van Duzen, V. He was killed in a plane crash in 1954 along with church leader Bishop Lloyd "Uranda" Meeker; he was only 10 years old.

Ezra lived in Zelienople, Pennsylvania and worked for the Gulf Oil Company. He passed away at St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA in October, 1976.

Note that on his headstone, they left the "S" off of his middle name. "Williams" was the middle name of his father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The name comes from the maiden name of his Great-great-great Grandmother Deborah Williams Van Duzen. She and her husband, Reverend Matthew F Van Duzen are linked via his parents/grandparents, etc., they are buried at Wesleyan Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.
