Colton Henry Abraham
August 20, 1996 - December 12, 2023

It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our son Colty.

He was blessed to Loretta and Vernon Abraham, along with his identical twin Trey, on the early morning of August 20, 1996.

Colton is the great-grandson of the late Eddie and Elsie Holloway, who named him and his twin the "Twoonies" of our family. They always felt as if they became millionaires when the first set of twins in our family was born.

He lived a full life in his short 27 years of life. He spent his first years of life in Bighorn, AB, and later our mother moved us to Calgary and Nanaimo BC to pursue her education.

He got his early schooling at Bay View Elementary in Nanaimo, BC, until he was 10 years old, then moved onto Morley Community School.

He was a natural born athlete, and his athleticism took him on many journeys as he followed in his parents and grandparents footsteps on the rodeo trail as a boy steer rider. Along with his late brother-in-law Rusty Coyote, he made it to the IRCA finals one year. He later fell in love with the sport of hockey and he and his twin were dubbed the "Sedin Brothers" earning many banners for the surrounding communities of Cochrane, Canmore and Cremona, AB, and taking the silver medal with the Nakoda Wilds on one of his last times playing on a team.

He was a kind humble young man who made friends with whomever he encountered.

He is survived by his heart and soul, his beautiful children Odyssey and Reign, his loving wife Tia Rider and his proud parents Loretta and Vernon Abraham.

He is also survived by his siblings Lillian, Olissa (Quinten), Melody, Larana (Tye), Dale (Hope), Traven, Kylen (Aiysha), Trey (Lyric) and Morgan; his adopted siblings Bailey (Navee) Wesley, Cheyenne Wesley; his in-laws Tessa (Garold) Beaver, Angel (Kronin) Rider and Nathan Wesley; his nephews Austin, Justin, Donovan, Coby, RJ, Willowe, Nakoda and Brooklyn; his nieces Audrey, Mahpiya, Kate, Nattie, Robyn and Cree; his uncles Snyder (Retillia), Mandryk, and Marvin (Eleanor); his aunts Lorriane, Geraldine, Myrna, Marjorie and Debbie Kootenay; his maternal grandparents Henry and Kathleen Holloway, Violet Beaver, Yvonne, Christine, Victoria and Marilyn Holloway, Eddie (Connie) Holloway, Delmar (Angie) Holloway, and Keon (Pam) Holloway; his paternal grandparents Georgie Poucette and Cassie (Charlie) Poucette; and his special cousins Lewis Kootenay, Deirdre Snow, Dayna Snow, Adrienne Holloway, and Anthony Holloway. He is also survived by family in Eden Valley, Big Horn, Piikani, Morley, Maskwacis, and friends in Snueymuxw B.C.

Colton was predeceased by his grandparents Eddie and Elsie Holloway, Issac and Lucy Twoyoungmen and Morgan Abraham; his uncle Harvey Abraham; his brothers-in-law Rusty Coyote and Owen Baptiste, brother Darcy Beaver, his cousin Steven Abraham, and his mother-in-law Jaqueline Wesley. We apologize if we have missed anyone.

Wake Services will be held at the residence Loretta Holloway (Mini Thni, AB) on Saturday, December 16, and on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
