Mrs. Lily Rogers, 69, of Springdale died Jan. 1 in the hospital there. She was born Feb. 1, 1893 in Texas, the daughter of J. R. McFerrin and Ellen King McFerrin, and was a former resident of Kingston.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Rogers, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Tina Grigg of Springdale and Mrs. Myrtle Griggs of Sentinel, Oklahoma; three sons, Bill Rogers of La Barge, Wyo., Glenn M. Rogers of Lakewood, Calif., and Rich S. Rogers of Los Alamitos, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Grigg of Springdale, Mrs. Alice Perry of Kingston and Mrs. Bessie Bunch of Oak Ridge, Oregon; two brothers, George McFerrin of Springdale and Sam McFerrin of Cotton Center, Texas; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. in the Springdale Mission church and graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. at Upper Camp Ground with the Rev. Vivan Rhodes and Rev. Cecil Garrison, conducting. Arrangements were by the Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Robert, Jackie and Raymond White, Jimmy Griggs, G. E. Brewer and Wilburn Hathorne.
