Bernard Elwin "Bud" Scott, 76, of Dundas, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

Bud was born April 21, 1947 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of Wendell and Mildred (Bare) Scott. He married Jackie (Walker) on June 13, 1969, and she followed him shortly in death on December 17, 2023.

Bud is a U.S. Army Veteran who served a four-year term as an MP. He worked for Glover Oil in Olney, Illinois for 27 years and became well known for driving his Mack tank truck for many of those years. Bud loved to hunt, fish at local rivers, and go camping with friends and family. Bud was a devoted husband to Jackie for over 54 years. They built a life together that centered around their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who were the greatest joys of his life. Bud was a simple man but one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. He always made others feel welcome with a big warm smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda Scott; and brother, Larry Scott.
