Son of Samuel Balch and Mary Colburn Baker. Married Patience Chamberlain. 2 children.. On Wiki and other sites.. Dates for Josiah seem to be in error with their deaths being in the 1750s.. This has been proven in correct on Patience.. Josiah's will was not filed until 1772 with his wife as executor... I would lean toward the 1772 date and not the 1759 date... Josiah's Father and Grandfather served as Deacons.. Josiah's son also served as Deacon...Patience was fully involved raising her 10(?) Grandchildren and after Josiah's death lived for a time with her son and his family. Her body was returned and buried by her husband..
