Kenny Showman, age 52, of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, surrounded by his loved ones. 
    Kenny was born June 26, 1971, in Sigourney, to Danny and Norma (Krumvieda) Showman and graduated from Pekin High School in 1989.  He married Teri Sedore in June of 1990 and they had two children before divorcing in 1997.  He then was married to Kim Crumes for 24 years before they divorced in 2021.  Kenny farmed and worked at Dexter and Grinnell Products before establishing Five Star (now Weiler) in Knoxville.  He was currently employed as the Facilities Maintenance Manager at Weiler.  Kenny was a member of Pheasants Forever and enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities.
    Survivors include two children: Brooke Showman of Keosauqua and Dillon (Carra) Showman of Bonaparte; four grandchildren: Rowan, Evelyn, Huxley and Cannon and five siblings: Denise Clark of Ottumwa, Judy (Dave) Wardlow of Ottumwa, Gail (Robert) Molkenthin of Ollie, Steve (Rhonda) Showman of Pella and Pam Kent of Agency.   He was preceded in death by his parents.

    Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney.  Burial will be at Rayburn Cemetery near Hedrick.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the funeral home.
