Nancy Eileen Agnitsch, 72, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, MO.

She was born on January 25, 1951, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of George Mootz and Alice (Meyer) Mootz, who preceded her in death.

She grew up in Iowa and moved to Sedalia in 1978. Nancy married Steve Agnitsch on December 4, 1971. She loved God and attended St. Vincent DePaul Parish in Sedalia, MO.

Nancy worked for 38 years alongside her husband, Steve, co-owning and operating the Accounting Office of Sedalia, MO, doing tax preparations. She enjoyed raising and riding horses as well as gardening and cooking. She also enjoyed painting ceramic pieces along with many other arts and crafts.

Nancy was a loving mother and devoted wife. She was an exceptional friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Agnitsch; her two sons, Christopher and his wife Rebekah of Grain Valley and Jeffrey and his fiancé Ashley Scalzo of Sedalia, MO; one sister, Marcia Werner; five brothers, Rick Mootz, Gary Mootz, Tom Mootz, Dale Mootz, and Alan Mootz; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will have a celebration of life gathering with family and friends at a later date.
