Alan, aged 58, passed away at Midland Hospice House in Topeka from complications of pancreatic cancer. He was the son of Robert and Sally (Glotzbach) Foster. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School, Highland Community College in 1985, and Kansas State University in 1987 with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics. He married Ann on April 30, 1988. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, his children, Perry Foster and Amelia Foster, his mother, and his sisters, Anita Sidesinger, Mary Heffern, and Karen Anderson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held January 2, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery in Topeka.
