Born on October 25, 1943 in Logansport, IN, he was the son of the late Geeter and Charlotte (Binney) Early. On April 24, 1966 in Logansport, IN, Bill married Georgia A. Miller, who preceded in death on September 10, 2023.
Bill retired from Delco Electronics and served in the Indiana National Guard. Bill was a major sports fan, from high school sports to professional sports he loved it all. He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Bill also enjoyed traveling the United States, whether it be a family vacation with his family or just him and his wife. One thing about Bill is that he never knew a stranger and always found someone to visit with no matter where he was.
Bill was a member of the IBEW, UAW, Royal Center Masonic Lodge and Indiana National Guard. He was an active member of the community for many years.
Surviving are one son; two daughters; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Schwalm; and a brother, Richard "Dick" David Early.
A funeral service for Bill Early will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Foreman officiating. Burial will follow in Metea Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
