Sym; Rites Scheduled today Services for Edmund A Sym 54, of 653 N.W. 11th St. a sales engineer who has resided in Miami for 28 years will be held today at 11 am at Ahearn Plummer Funeral chapel. He died Sunday. Mr. Sym active in Miami civic affairs was born in Milwaukee, Wis. He was graduated from the University of Washington and during World War I participated in five major battles with the United States Army. He served three years with the Florida state guard during World War II. Surviving are his wife Gladys, five children Norman, Dennis, Doris, Irene and Esther Sym all of Miami and two sisters in Milwaukee. Burial will be in Flagler Memorial Park Cemetery.
