Theodore "Ted" William Bisch
January 27, 1945-December 22, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ted, aged 78, at home on December 22, 2023.
Ted was born on January 27, 1945 in Anaconda, MT to Theodore William Bisch and Lenora Flanigan Bisch.
He grew up in Whitehall with his 5 siblings and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1963.
He Married Nonie Gaughan on June 20, 1970 in St. John's Catholic Church in Butte. Together, they had three children
.
Ted worked various jobs around Whitehall in his early years to include the local grocery store and for Gene Clark at his ranch.
Ted later worked for the Montana Department of Transportation.
He retired after thirty years at the age of 48. After retirement he started A&B Windows and Doors.
His family heard from numerous customers over the years regarding his perfection and attention for details while performing his installations. He was also a long serving volunteer at the Butte Food Bank.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Lenora; his brother, Richard; an infant brother: his sister, Barbara Roberston.
Ted is survived by his wife of 53 years, three children and their spouses. John (Mary) Bisch, Toni (Mike) Byrne and Micki (Trevor) Mattson, and grandchildren Jake (Kyra) Bisch, Ryan and Brendan Byrne, and Korin, Kelly, Gracie and Hank Mattson. He will be dearly missed by his sisters Jeri(Tom) Webber, Mary (Joe) Misale, and Nora Amos (Dick Capp). Ted is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews on both the Bisch and Gaughan side.
Cremation has taken place.
Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 4th at 11 am in St. Ann Catholic Church.
Burial of ashes will take another date in Whitehall.
