Kenneth Ray Beckett Sr. was born August 7, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to Cecil and Virginia (Harper) Beckett. He grew up in Washington, D.C. and graduated from college with a degree in Theological Studies. He was in the U.S. Army one year and eleven months and was discharged as a Specialist. He was married to Ann Blackwell for twenty four years and they had four children. Kenneth owned and operated his own computer repair business for many years. He enjoyed golfing, playing games especially solitaire, Texas Hold'em, chess and cribbage. Ken will be remembered for his love for the Lord, accomplishments, and witty one liner's.
Kenneth is survived by his four children: Gina Beckett, Janell Clark, Lisa Leininger, and Kenneth Beckett II; his six grandchildren: D'Andre, Ariana, and Justice Wakefield, Brianna Miller, Haley Leininger and Jordan Holtz; and his two great-grandchildren: Jackson Miller and Charlotte Holtz. Kenneth was preceded in death by the long time love of his life, Ginny Keesling; parents, Cecil and Virginia Beckett; and his four siblings: Janet Giovanni, Jack Beckett, Eddy Beckett, and Arlene White.
