Lucinda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed the outdoors, watching birds, and camping in Florida during the winter months. Lucinda was a member of Jackson Park Covenant Brethren Church.
In addition to her parents, Lucinda was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny and Joe Fields.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Hatton; daughters, Theresa Sanders (Troy), Kimberly Brochin (Joseph); son, Mike Barekman (Cheri); step-son, Joe Hatton (Joni); grandchildren, Gannon Brochin (Alyssa), Gavin Brochin, Shania Alvis, Brentin Barekman, and Johnathan Barekman; great-grandson on the way, Nolan; sisters, Rita Banzhof (Mark), and Mary Shidler; along with several nieces and nephews.
The Hatton family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. Committal Service and Inurnment will be at a later date at Washington County Memory Gardens.
