SERVICES FOR HEIGHTS MAN, 58, WILL BE HELD FRIDAY
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS - Charles S. Metcalf, 58, of 80 LaSalle Avenue died last night at the Bergen County Home, Paramus.
Born in England, Mr. Metcalf lived in Brooklyn and moved here 5 years ago. Because of ill health he was forced to retire as a stationary engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rigby Metcalf; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Buruchian of Wood Ridge; three sons, Lawrence and Frank of Hasbrouck Heights and Charles, who is stationed with the United States Air Force at March Air Force Base in California; three grandchildren; and one brother, Lawrence of Boston.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the Kohler Funeral Home, 280 Hackensack Street, Wood-Ridge. The Rev. William Carhardt of the First Presbyterian Church of Wood-Ridge will officiate.
