Lesa Carol Ahrens, 63, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on December 20, 2023, in Des Moines after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on July 22, 1960, in Des Moines to her father Samuel and her late mother Liela (Thomas) Hurst.
Lesa is survived by her father Sam, her sons TJ (Crista and sons Spencer, Hunter, and Carter) and Nick, and her brothers Stan Hurst (Janis) and Sherman Hurst (Marge). She was also a special friend to Bobby Smith. Lesa was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Linda Hurst.
Lesa's life will be honored with a private memorial service.
