Four Oaks, NC: Mr. James Corbett Rabon, age 88, of N. Main Street passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. Rev. John Norman will officiate.

Mr. Rabon was born on August 14, 1935 in Harnett County, NC to the late Daniel Walter and Mary Florence Rochelle Rabon. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lacy C. Rabon, Sr. Mr. Rabon was a retired registered nurse where he served Dorothea Dix Hospital, Central Prison, and the Johnston County Correctional Center. He was an avid antique collector, going to the flea markets, genealogy research, and was an animal lover.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lynda Allison Rabon; son, Walter Lee Rabon of Four Oaks; daughter, Sarah Rochelle Caldwell of Raleigh; grandchildren, Ryan James Herring and wife, Kaylee, Mary Rhiannon Picariello and husband, Cole, and Grant Washington Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Emmy Picariello, Emerson Herring, Madelyn Picariello.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Food Pantry at First Baptist Church of Four Oaks, P.O. Box 717, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
