Mrs. Lucy Salley Black, 96, of Lime Street, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1994, at Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Black, a native of Salley, was a teacher in Simpsonville, where she also owned and operated a private telephone service. She was a graduate of Greenville Women's College and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary B. Hill, Amelia Island; a brother, Kenneth Felder Salley, Graham, N.C.; and two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salley Cemetery, with the Rev. Garland Hart officiating. George Funeral Home, Park Avenue, is in charge of arrangements.
