Joyce enjoyed sewing clothes, making Afghans, and many other items for her family. She adored her flowers. Joyce spent her whole life working to be with her lord in heaven and attended the Church of Christ since she was a young child. Joyce was best friends with her Aunt that was very close to her in age, and we believe Bonnie is together with her again. She especially loved her family and took care of all of us the best that she could.
Joyce is survived by her children; James, Hazel and Deniece, grandchildren; Larry Pendarvis, Bryan Risner, Andrea (Pierce) Thompson, Brent Risner, and Josh Pierce, twenty great-grandchildren, several great, great-grandchildren, four sister-in-laws, several cousins and one Aunt.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Almous and Gladys Cotham, her husband, Herbert Risner, grandson, Bradley Risner, sister Jerry Ann Combs, brothers, James Dearyl Cotham, and Gary Dean Cotham, her special Aunt Bonnie Agee, many relatives and loved ones.
