Mrs. Folks died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, Mo.
She was born Nov. 15, 1957, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of John and Joan Arthurs Moorhead. She graduated from Lawrence High School.
Mrs. Folks worked as an emergency room technician at Missouri Baptist Medical Center and Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. She was a member of Motorcycle Riders Club of America.
She married Richard E. Folks Jr. on June 21, 1986, in Lawrence, Kan. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include her father; two sons, three stepsons, a brother, a sister and 10 grandchildren.
