Stanley Allen Whisnant, 56, of Conway passed away on Thursday, January 4th, 2024. He was born on Tuesday, June 13, 1967 in Topeka, Kansas to the late Gary Whisnant and Barbara Stanley. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Robert and in-laws, Joseph and Bonnie Boeckmann.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Karla (Boeckmann) Whisnant of Conway; two daughters, Jordan Nichole Whisnant of North Little Rock and Jadyn Elizabeth Whisnant of Conway; special family member, Maha Madani Pillow; brother, Steve Whisnant (Mary) of Little Rock; nieces, Skylar, Mackenzie and Sydney Whisnant all of Little Rock and numerous extended family and friends.

Stan was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was a phenomenal and caring educator for almost twenty-nine years. He had a passion for teaching and watching his students excel. He was the NLRSD Secondary Administrator of the year in 2009 and one of the NLRHS teachers of the year for 2023-2024.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at the NLR High School Auditorium on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Vilonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 pm Friday, January 12, 2024 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Berry, Joseph Boeckmann, Jacob Garner, Tyler Green, John Timmes and Joseph Tosato. Honorary Pallbearers are Ki Dearen, Benjamin Garner, Jonah Garner and Corey Pillow.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Stan Whisnant Memorial Scholarship. The goal is to recognize two EAST students each year with post secondary plans.
