Shirley J. Lorge, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Wisconsin Veteran's Home in King. She was born in Kenosha on April 23, 1930, daughter of the late Earl and Janie (Kiekhoefer) Jepson. She was united in marriage to Henry Lorge at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bear Creek. He preceded her in death. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and going to the casino meeting new people. Her family and friends were the most important thing to her. There was never a dull moment with Shirley. In her early years she worked at Flanagan's Kraut Factory.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters: Harry (Kathy) Lorge, Susan (Leo) Roberts, Sandi (Ken) Bernard, Roger Lorge and special friend Sherry Bruette; Nancy Kamke; former daughter-in-law: Barb Lorge; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friend Kathy Goodin.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters; a son Morris; daughter JoAnn Shepard; sons-in-law: Earl Shepard and Rick Kamke; also a grand son-in-law Shawn Meyer.

The Funeral Service for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, January 10. 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dahlke Life Celebration Center of Manawa with Rev. Jill Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Danish Cemetery, Deer Creek. A visitation will be held at the Life Celebration Center on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
