Jack Lawrence Abbey Jr., 62, of Pasadena, TX, unexpectedly passed away on January 2, 2024. He was born on June 11, 1961 in Brownsville, TX to his adored mother Rebecca, who sadly passed away when he was just 13 years' old. Jack made a living working in the safety industry and was proud of what he was able to professionally achieve in his 62 years on earth.

Among his greatest enjoyments in life were his relationship with his daughter Jessica and his loving wife, Stella. Jack would have celebrated his 25th anniversary with Stella this year on 12 June.

Jack was a passionate man known for making friends and enjoying the little things in life. He enjoyed grilling, spending time with friends and family, and supporting Texas sports teams, most notably the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros.

Jack is preceded in death by his mother Rebecca Gil and his father Jack Lawrence Abbey Sr. He is survived by his wife Stella Abbey, his daughter Jessica Abbey, his stepchildren JoAnn Villa, Joe Guerra, and Monica Guerra. He is also survived by his brother and sisters Irene Hamilton, Amon Hamilton, and Cindy Hamilton along with many grandchildren and beloved friends and family.

Services will be held at Grandview Funeral Home and Memorial Park located at 8501 Spencer Highway Pasadena, TX 77505. A viewing will be on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 5 to 8 p.m. and The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10 a.m.
