Mr. Cecil Glen Bishop, age 86 of Chatsworth, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Advent Health Gordon.
Glen enjoyed working with his hands, hunting, and walking through the mountains.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Bell Bishop; brothers, Jim Bishop, Henry Gallman Jr., and Gordon Bishop; sisters, Ima Lee Caylor and Ora Mae Greeson.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Sue Bishop of Chatsworth; son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Donna Bishop of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Ken Elliot of Cleveland, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Diane Gallman of Chatsworth; sister, Georgia Gallman of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Naomi Bishop, DaKoda Bishop, Jacob and Faith Elliot, and Haley and Roy Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Morgan Elliot, Adren Elliot, and Cole Reynolds; two sisters-in-law and many beloved nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mr. Cecil Glen Bishop will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Corbin officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
