Nancy Jo (Moyer) Monahan, 62, of Hollidaysburg went to be with the Lord on Monday morning at Conemaugh Hospital in Johnstown after a brief illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Bonnie Jean (Focht) Moyer and the late Richard C. Moyer. Nancy married Robert E. Monahan on February 22, 1980.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father; her sister, Robin Lyn Aungst; and her grandparents, George and Thelma Focht and Clark and Claire Moyer.

She was a 1979 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. After high school, Nancy went to Altoona Beauty School to become a cosmetologist. She retired from A Cut Above in Duncansville after many years of employment. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a very hard worker. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, duplicating the recipes and feeding friends and family.

At the request of the deceased, all services will be private with Reverend Joseph Paul Monahan officiating. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park.
